How to change video speed
- Drop one or more videos into the drop zone, or click it to browse your files.
- Pick a speed: 0.25x, 0.5x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x or 4x.
- Leave Keep Audio Pitch on to keep the sound, or turn it off to remove the audio.
- Click the Change Speed button and wait for each file to finish.
- Click Download Video, or Download All when you changed several videos.
Questions
What do the speed presets do?
0.25x and 0.5x slow the video down. 1.5x, 2x, 3x and 4x speed it up. 2x is selected by default, and each file shows its new length before you start.
What happens to the sound?
With Keep Audio Pitch on, the audio speeds up or slows down with the video but keeps its normal pitch, so voices do not sound squeaky or deep. With it off, the new video has no audio.
What file do I get back?
An MP4 file. Its name includes the speed, such as clip-2x.mp4. Every video in the batch gets the same speed.
Are there limits, and is anything uploaded?
Each video can be up to 500 MB. Processing runs in your browser with FFmpeg, so nothing is uploaded.
