How to resize a video
- Drop one or more videos into the drop zone, or click it to browse your files.
- Choose an Aspect Ratio: 9:16, 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 or 4:3.
- Choose a Resize Method: Crop to fill or Fit with bars.
- Pick a Resolution of 720p or 1080p, and check the output size shown below it.

Questions
What is the difference between Crop to fill and Fit with bars?
Crop to fill scales the video until it covers the whole frame, then cuts off the edges that spill over. Fit with bars keeps the whole picture and fills the empty space with black bars.
What size will my video be?
At 1080p, 9:16 gives 1080 x 1920, 16:9 gives 1920 x 1080, 1:1 gives 1080 x 1080, 4:5 gives 1080 x 1350 and 4:3 gives 1440 x 1080. At 720p the sizes scale down, such as 720 x 1280 for 9:16.
What file do I get back?
An MP4 file with H.264 video. The audio is copied over unchanged. The name ends with the ratio, such as clip_9x16.mp4.
Are my videos uploaded, and what are the limits?
No upload happens. The resizing runs in your browser with FFmpeg. Each video can be up to 500 MB, and you can resize several in one batch.
