How to resize an image
- Drop one or more images into the drop zone, or click it to browse your files.
- Pick a Resize Mode: Width & Height for exact pixels, or Percentage to scale.
- Type the new width and height, or pick a scale such as 25%, 50% or 200%.
- Check the Output size, then click the Resize button.
- Click Download Image, or Download All when you resized several images.
Questions
Does it keep my aspect ratio?
Percentage mode always does, because width and height scale by the same amount. In Width & Height mode the two boxes are separate, so the image stretches if the new shape differs. Every image in the batch gets the same size in that mode.
What format do I get back?
PNG files stay PNG. JPG, WebP and other images are saved as JPG at 92% quality. The new file name ends in _resized.
What are the limits?
Each image can be up to 100 MB. Width and height must be between 1 and 10,000 pixels. The Percentage slider goes from 1% to 300%.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The resizing uses your browser's built-in canvas, so your images stay on your device.
