Questions

What is the difference between MP3, WAV and AAC?

MP3 is the default and plays almost everywhere. AAC keeps files small. Both are saved at 192 kbps. WAV is uncompressed, so it adds no new compression, but the files are much larger.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Extraction runs with FFmpeg in your browser. Your videos and audio files stay on your device.

What are the limits?

Each video can be up to 2 GB, and you can add several videos to one batch. The format you pick applies to every file in the batch. Each audio file keeps your video's name with the new extension.

How is this different from Video to MP3?

Video to MP3 only makes MP3 files, but it lets you choose 128, 192 or 320 kbps. Audio Extractor adds WAV and AAC, and its MP3 option is fixed at 192 kbps.
