How to generate captions from a script

  2. Pick a Pacing Style: TikTok (short, punchy), YouTube (longer, calmer) or Clean (balanced, minimal).
  3. Click Generate captions.
  4. Review the caption cards. Emphasis captions are shown in bold capitals.
  5. Click Copy all to copy every caption, one per line.

Questions

Does it make an SRT file or timestamps?

No. You get plain text caption phrases in order, with no timings. Copy all puts one caption per line, with emphasis captions in capitals, ready to paste into your editor.

Can I upload a video or audio file?

No. This tool works from text only. Paste a voiceover script, a transcript or any spoken-word text.

Will it change my words?

It is told to keep the speaker's actual words, not paraphrase, and not add punctuation that was not there. It splits them into short phrases and marks the punchy ones for emphasis. TikTok style uses the shortest phrases, YouTube uses longer ones and Clean uses the least emphasis.

Can I turn the captions into a video?

Yes. Turn this into a video carries your script into FrameSurfer's prompt box. You need to sign in for that step, but not to generate captions.
