# FrameSurfer

> FrameSurfer is an AI video generator. Describe an idea in a chat prompt and it writes the script, generates the visuals, records the voiceover, adds captions and music, and exports a finished MP4 (up to 1080p) in a few minutes. Built for anyone who starts from an idea, not footage: stories, ads, product demos, UGC and real estate tours.

This is the long-form companion to [llms.txt](https://framesurfer.com/llms.txt). FrameSurfer is a web app at https://framesurfer.com. Video creation requires an account and credits; the free tools, blog and story pages are public.

## What FrameSurfer makes

A FrameSurfer video is generated end to end from a text brief, optionally with reference images or a link to a web page:

- **Script**: the brief is expanded into a narrated script broken into scenes, which the user can edit as a plan before anything is generated.
- **Visuals**: each scene gets AI-generated video or images, or stock footage, chosen to match the script. Reference photos keep a product, character or place consistent across scenes.
- **Voiceover**: AI narration with word-level timing, so captions follow the speech.
- **Captions and music**: synchronized on-screen text (word, sentence or full-text styles) and a music track fitted to the tone.
- **Export**: rendered to MP4 at up to 1080p, ready to post.

Typical turnaround is a few minutes for a 15 to 60 second video.

- **Free credits**: every new account starts with 20 free credits. They make animated-picture videos (AI images with motion, voiceover, music and captions). AI video clips need a plan, which is billed monthly from the first day. No trial.
- **Every plan includes every model** in the catalog; plans differ only in how many credits they carry. 50 credits is roughly 20–25 seconds of video on a standard model (Grok or Pruna). - Credits are deducted when a generation starts and the cost is shown before it runs. Cost depends on video length, resolution and the AI model used. Script writing and planning cost nothing.
- Plans can be cancelled from account settings and stay active until the end of the billing period.
